News from David Daisy

Dear Friends:

Welcome to our updated Web Site. We hope you find it informative and more convenient. We are located in Cass County, in Southwestern Michigan, between Dowagiac and Sister Lakes.

We are excited to be offering two year old asparagus crowns again in 2009. These marvelous varieties are Jersey Knight, Jersey Giant, and Jersey Supreme. The most exciting of the varieties remains to be Purple Passion; a true gourmet's delight!

Of course, we again will be offering one year old crowns. These are of exceptional quality and size. Order early to get in on these valuable selections as these go quickly.

For strawberry varieties, we have a large assortment of old and new favorites, including Albion and Wendy. U-Pick number one varieties remain to be Jewel and Honeoye. Be sure to order early to guarantee your plants delivery.

We will also have a limited amount of Rhubarb. Black and Red Raspberries remain in good supply at the moment. A limited supply of Wild Root and Czechoslovakian Horseradish is available. We have Garlic Barrier once again.

In these uncertain times in our country's economic downturn, it reminds me of God's promise in Proverbs 3:6 - "In all thy ways acknowledge him and he will direct thy paths".  With the 2009 growing season coming soon, we all have decisions to make in our lives and businesses.

Americans are more health-conscious now than ever before. The trend is to consume fresh fruits and vegetables. Farm markets continue to spring up in communities all across America, creating more opportunities for all of us to market our quality products at a premium price.

Our product line continues to change as new varieties are developed by various breeding programs. Some varieties are no longer available or are sold out. Please check the plant list or call before ordering.

For those of you who place your orders via the internet, please include your telephone number so our customer service department can contact you personally if there is any question regarding your order.

We, once again, look forward to serving you this year as in the past.

Best Wishes for a successful and safe 2009 growing season.

Sincerely,   David Daisy
